Jill Schumacher presented two days of classes on quilting techniques and the art of Trapunto quilting.  This style of quilting results in a piece with greater depth and texture.  Instead of a quilt that is the same thickness throughout, a trapunto piece varies in thickness, as the quilter adds definition to highlight various elements of the quilt.
